emails from microsoft

I'm using IE 6 sp 1. In the last 3 days I am recieving a
enormous amount of emails from microsoft. "critical
updates" inet, "Newest critical upgrades" and more...
Its not sent to me directly. It sounds like a a problem I
read that happens with 5.0 and 5.5 not 6
Help?

.I don't think the email are from MS, I got one last Sat
with an UD938exe on it and it messed my computer up. Did
several wierd things and it removed the exe file on the
Virus protection, which left me with no protection. I
would ignore them and go to the MS support site for fixes

Microsoft will NEVER send you a patch or software fix via email.
They may send a notice, refering you to their web site for more info. But
they will never send attachments.
