I designed a database and used the button wizard to create a button that uses
the eMail command to place the report into an eMail. The only problem is
when I click on this button a pop-up asks what format I want to eMail. The
options are RichText, HTML, SnapShot, etc. No matter what I select, the
formatting on the report is gone and all that is sent into the eMail are the
fields. All the boxes, lines and formatting are gone and the report is not
as clean as it is when viewing. Is there any way to correct this?

Doug,
Lines and boxes are not text items, so when the report gets converted to
HTML or RTF, those items disappear. Also, Ive seen reports "collapse"
towards the top of the report, because there was "empty space" between
report fields.

There are workarounds...
Replace your "lines" with text underscore "____________"
Use empty Text controls as "spacers" to "block" fields from jumping
upward into empty report areas.

With a bit of ingernuity, you can get your report to oook pretty good.
SendObject is "meat and potatoes", but it should serve most business needs.
