emailing pictures

To email pics I ...
select several pics
click on email
resize them to smallest
the problems I have is that the newly created message with the properly
formatted pics is in Outlook and I'm setup using Windows Vista Mail

I've tried calling Dell and they suggest I uninstall the MS Office
Professional 2003 and then only reinstall Excel and Word, dropping Outlook.
However, I'm uneasy about doing this. If I run into any problems, not being
a pc wizard I may be in bigger trouble. Does anyone know how to make my
pictures > email, point to Windows Mail rather than Outlook?

No need to uninstall Outlook.
Go to Start >Default Programs (or Control Panel >Default Programs),
then click the first item: "Set your default programs."
After a few seconds a list of programs comes up.
Click on Windows Mail. To the right you should then see
"This program has all its defaults."
If it has less than all of its defaults, fix it by selecting one
of the two green arrow options.
