emailing photos

Windows XP is supposed to offer you the option of reducing the size of photos
when you shoose to email them; but my version of XP doesn't; it pops it
directly into a new message, at the current size. Is there a switch/ option I
am missing, or 9is it corruption?
 
Have you had any helpful reply?
I have exactly the same problem with Windows XP Pro both
before and after installing SP2.
On the other hand my Laptop with Windows XP Home Edition
is perfectly OK on this matter and again both before and
after installing SP2

Try this, maybe it will restore the option:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"
