Help - when I try to send photos by email, Windows XP used to ask me if I wanted to resize them. This no longer happens - instead a message just opens up with the full size photo attached. Can anyone explain what has happened here please.

Download Image Resizer from here, install and you can then Right Click on an
image in any folder and Resize.

Hi Paul

Unfortunately, the programme doesn't seem to work - so must be a problem within XP that's disabling this function. Any more help would be appreciated. Has anyone experienced this problem before?
Thanks
Karen

If all else fails with photo problems (jpg files), run Disk Cleanup and
clear out the temp files and temp internet files. See if that helps.

Running the following command
should restore your resize option:

Try this:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

The solution is provided by John Inzer below.
Run the command REGS....
The option, the window to resize, will then open.
Also, since you downloaded Image resizer, after running REGS..., right click
on a photo. You will now have Resize Picture on the opening menu.
