Emailing photo problems

I have a question about emailing photos. I have taken several photos and need to email them to an asscoiate. Every time I go to email there is a message that comes up thta states "Out of memory or systems resources. Close some windows or programs & try again". All other emails I have no problem sending or receiving. All photos are in JPEG. My operating System Windows XP Professional. And I am using Mircosoft Outlook for my email. Please let me know what I have done wrong. I need these photos to be emailed in order to get this portion of the project completed.

How many photos are you trying to send at once? Perhaps one or two per
email might work.
