I now have Security patch @ and the ActiveX upgrade from Hotmail, and now I
cannot email a music file to another email address. I also cannot do it in
Yahoo either. Any ideas?

I presume you mean SP2?
What errors do you get?

Yes, SP2, sorry. In trying to send a Winamp file from Hotmail, I am told they cannot find the file, even tho it is in my Media Library. Previously when I right-clicked on the file and sent it to "Mail Recipient" it I had no problems. Now Hotmail says they don't recognize it. Is this because it is now Winamp file? Should I change it back to a Windows Media Player file to send it?
If I try to send the file from Yahoo, as an attachment to a letter already
started, the pop-up box says "Downloading Attachment" and nothing happens
after the progress bars gp all the way across the bax. Everything just stops.
Would the add-on program, Hotmail Attachments C, ActiveX Control that I was
prompted to install have anything to do with any of this, and should I
uninstall it?

I'm not sure; I haven't used it. Seems unlikely to me. But it's worth a
test, I suppose....
