Emailing documents with frames

I have created a document with several frames and a TOC. I would like to
email this out as an electronic newsletter but I can't seem to be able to
email this. When I create the frames (or TOC) it appears to be opening
another document on top, so I am essentially emailing an empty document
whereas all of the actual content is in a separate one.
Any ideas how to email this?

unless you know exactly what kinds of email applications your receivers
are using, don't bother: send as an attachment (DOC, better: PDF).
