I've created my database and form for new employee management

I want to place an icon on each of the manger's desktop so all they need to
do is click no the icon and the form will pop-up. How do I make this happen?

Once they have poplulated the form, I want them to be able to go to FILE the
SENT TO and email me the form exactly as they see it on their screen (it is
printable, but trying to do things electronically). When I try this I get
promted for an HTML template, not sure what access is looking for here. How
do I make this happen?

Thanks,
-Ray

Hi Ray,

I can answer your first question, don't know the answer to the second.

Open the database window and drag the form from the database window onto the
desktop. That will create a shortcut which, when clicked, will launch
Access and open that form.

hi,
I am not sure you have email the form. i tried to do that
and failed. i solved the problem by creating a report
that looks just like the form and sent that instead. it
seem that the send mail function will only send records
from a table so you will have to save the record to the
table first.
i am speaking of access 97 and 2k. not sure about the
higher versions.

Thanks for the replies...

One other question concerning this same entry form.
Is it possible to have a button that points to a word document whereby the
user can print that document from the entry form?

Thanks

One other thing with this form,

Each time the manager clicks on the shortcut, I would like it the form to
open to a new record, not a previous record.

Thanks,
