Emailed file as att, but receiver can not open

Recently I emailed a PPT file to someone as an attachment and the receiver, who also has MS Office can not open the file. What should I try to resolve this? Thanks

More info would help ... ask them what happens when they try to open the file.

It might be that the security features in Outlook or OE are preventing them from
opening attachments.
