Is it possible to set up Outlook so that when an email is
received it can only be seen by the user it is addressed
to.
At the moment when one person is using the computer and
emails are received they can be for the other users of the
computer.
We are using freeserve with Windows XP home
version/outlook 2002.

Yes it can. if you have an email address of (say) bloggs.freeserve.co.uk and
users called (say) Fred and Jenny, then set up each email as follows.
Create a User Account for each user if you haven't done so already. (This
negates the need for rules to put emails from different addresses into
different Inboxes)

In the "User name" of each persons email settings, type in
"Fred+bloggs.freeserve.xo.uk" in Fred's settings, and
"Jenny+bloogs.freeserve.co.uk" (obviously without the quotes) in jenny's.
This will ensure that Fred only gets emails addressed to
(e-mail address removed)*******.co.uk and jenny only gets emails addressed to
(e-mail address removed)********.co.uk. Unfortunately this method will not download
emails addressed to neither, but as that will be mostly spam, just use
Mailwasher or similar once a month to clear them ou.
