How can I set up to send word and excel document through gmail not internet
Explorer using the "send to" function

Set up your gmail account as a pop account then access that account from
Outlook. Set Outlook as your default e-mail application. The basics are

You can't. You will have to create the email message in gmail and attach
the Word/Excel documents to it.

That's what I have been doing and had hoped the new 2007 might have changed.
