Cannot open attachments is windows mail

Hi, In windows mail I try to open an attatchment and get:

CREATE AN ASSOCIATION IN THE SET ASSOCIATIONS CONTROL PANEL

How do I do that?

Save the attachment to disk and then open it. Depending on the file type
you should scan it for viruses first.
