Apologies for the vague-sounding subject line, but it's easier to
demonstrate what I'm looking for than to describe it in one line!
Anyway, what I want is something to tidy up the > > quote markers and
so on in email replies... but I *don't* want the markers stripped
out. In other words, I want a mess like this:
complicated things to do, although

to be turned into this:

and *not* into this:

I should think it would be one of the more complicated things to do,
although everyone says it's quite easy when I ask them at
work.

Any ideas, please?

Thanks. The problem with that, though[1], is that it strips out all
the > markers, which I *don't* want. I need multiple-level quoting
preserved. I've fiddled with the options, and can't find anything. Ah
well, looks like Ye Olde Delphi will have to be pressed into service
again.

[1] Other than my having to split files into pieces thanks to its 32K
limit - I sent an *82K* plain-text email to a friend not so long
ago...
