i tried to send 122mb attachement with a video on it to my daughter but was
told i did not have enough memory this is a new computer and it is vista can
you help

Most ISP's have a limit on the maximum files size you can send.
Usually around 20mb.

Also note that internet upload speeds are generally a fraction of download
speeds so even if you weren't breeching a limit would probably seem
painfully slow to send such a file.

I suggest you open a file sharing account that sign up with a file sharing
account that you can share with anyone. There are many such services
available free on the internet.

Another alternative is to obtain a file splitting program which can
chop the video into more manageable chunks.

A 122 MB attachment will have to be encoded as text.
This adds 33 1/3% to the size of the attachment.
Unless you both have DSL connections, burn the file to a CD and send it.
