I while ago I wrote an auto-emailing program and I use it
daily to send report files to our clients. It makes use
of Outlook.Application, Outlook.MailItem and
Outlook.PostItem, NameSpace and MAIPIFolder objects to
create emails, public folder posts and add attachments to
them.
Bad luck for me, the boss thinks I need to take a vacation
soon, so I have to allow someone else to use this
program. We gave it a test run on his computer today, and
it worked, except for one minor annoyance. He is getting
a message I don't remember having seen on my PC every time
he sends an email.
"Microsoft Outlook: A program is trying to automatically
send e-mail on your behalf. Do you want to allow this?
If this is unexepected, it may be a virus and you should
choose No".
I am using full Office SR-1, he has SP-3. I wonder if
that alone could case the difference? He also has PGP
installed, and I don't. Is there a possible solution to
prevent this message? It wouldn't be so bad if it was
only one or two emails, but we use this on a couple dozen
emails and it get's anoying after a few.
