Email will not work

I have another computer that is online with Comcast. They changed their antivivus from McAffee to Norton. when this change was made my email no longer functioned. My serch for files quit working also. The OS is XP Home Edition. Comcast had no explanation.

Norton Internet Security can cause Outlook to fail. Remove and reinstall the software. That should get it to work. Personally, I suggest MS Security Essentials as a free option. It's not bad at monitoring either. I haven't had anything that wasn't caght by MSSE.
