No. Somebody else has the virus and it is putting your e-mail address
in some of the e-mail messages it generates.
If you look through the headers and are able to find the real
originating IP address, forward a copy to the ISP which owns that
address and ask them to take appropriate action to deal with their
customer's problem.
You could also try "Mailwasher" with a friends list, deleting all other
spam.
And use a good antivirus program such as Antivir 6.0
www.free-av.com in combination with ZoneAlarm.
ZoneAlarm can prevent a program access to internet, leaving internet clean
you actually can stop the sending of unwanted e-mail if you want with this
program it's really cool.
When you find the virus, you can download the fixtool with
www.symantec.com
downloads section -be sure you choose the right fix tool- Be sure and do not
cancel scanning while running the fix tool. When you do the virus may be
still on your computer. It also helps to patch your computer (if applicable)
with Windowsupdate ONLY. Microsoft NEVER sends patches with e-mail.
