email virus trouble

how can i get rid of this virus safely because i'm getting all these emails
and not knowing what there for

can someone tell me how to sort it out and what the name of this virus is so
as to warn family and friends

You don't tell us enough about the problem to even guess what the
problem is, but I do have one suggestion:

If you don't already have a current updated virus program, get one. Any
good program can offer to check your machine for any viruses and to check
any email for viruses. It may not get them all, but if you keep it up to
date, you are usually safe.

Now tell us exactly what has happened that caused you to leave the
message and request help.

If you have not been running an updated virus scanner, you're most
likely already infected. If this is the case, your machine is
probably sending out hundreds of viruses to everyone in your address
book.

The best way to control the spread of viruses is to take
responsibility for your own system and protect it.

There are numerous commercial virus scanners out there, and even a
decent freeware scanner, so there really isn't an excuse for not
running a scanner.
