email transfer problems

I got the vista update with the office ultimate 2007 softwear now it said
that I needed a email so I tried my hotmail and it didn't work so I tried my
yahoo account now that worked. unfortinatly it also took all my messages from
yahoo and put it into the inbox. Now I want the messages back in my yahoo
account but can't find a way to put it back.

What mail program took all your messages? Windows Mail? Outlook from
Office 2007? Did you tell the mail program not to delete messages from the
POP3 server?
 
If you truly need them back on the server at yahoo just forward them to
yourself and make sure to tell windows mail to leave a copy on the server.

Tools | Accounts
Select the account and click Properties. On the advanced tab tell it to
leave a copy on the server.
