Could anyone tell me the best way to maintain text formatting in an email,
What I want is to be able to copy a page off a word document and have the
text look the same in an email, without sending it as a Word attachment ias
I would like it to be visible to anyone reading the email and also the
receiver might not have word?

Any Ideas?

Try the File | Send To | Mail Recipient command in Word. This will create an
HTML message with the same layout as your document.

Sorted, Thanks Sue
