I have been looking at stationary and forms, but haven't been able to find what I am looking for. I would like to base my email on templates using automatic insertion from fields from Contacts. See below for example. Is this possible with Outlook 2003 without a lot of customization? How

For example, I would like to make a template loking like this

Dear <saluatation><lastname>

tex

<saluatation><lastname>, I has been a pleasure text tex

Best regards, etc.

If you have Word 2003 installed also, you can do a mail merge between the
two to get the result you're looking for. Look at the following pages for
further information:

The Word document can be saved for future use.

Thanks, I have looked at the info, I do have workd 2003. Would this mean I would have to store my email as word documents or would they appear as regular mail messages in Outlook ?

They would be regular mail messages. You're just using Word to format the
messages and to insert each data record into the appropriate place for each
message. The sent messages would be stored in Outlook if you have Outlook
set to save sent messages.
