How do I access a second email account with Windows mail. The account is set
up but when I bring up Windows email it keeps going to the original one that
was started. I even made the second one the default email address but still
want bring it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can check however many email accounts that you want, but WM puts all
messages into the same Inbox.
You can create rules to move messages into different folders.

Thanks Dave. I will give that a try.

I came across the same problem :
- how to create a folder for the second account that contains exactly the
same icons for IN, OUT, deleted etc. subfolders ?
- how do I make rules for send items, to move them to 'the other' correct
send folder ?
- how do I make rules for sent items, to move them to 'the other' correct
sent folder ?
Could somebody help me here with a step by step instruction ?

The funny part is, according to the help file it says :
Met Windows Mail kunt u eenvoudig meerdere accounts beheren door elke
account in een eigen map te plaatsen.

translated :
with WM you can simply have several accounts in each a separate account....

thanks for your help, regards,
Ed.

Windows Mail puts the messages from all POP3 accounts in the same Inbox
unless you create other folders and make message rules to move them.

Define "it keeps going to the original one".
Do you mean the second account is not polled when you click
on "Send/Receive"? As a test you can click the small down arrow
next to "Send/Receive" and this will allow you to poll accounts
individually. Any error when you have it poll the second account?

Create a folder in LOCAL FOLDER
Click on:
* TOOLS
* MESSAGE RULES
* MAIL
* NEW
where the "TO LINE CONTAINS (type in subaccount email address)
move it to the (folder you created in LOCAL FOLDER)
