If you are using Outlook Express, click on Tools >> Options.
On Option window Click on Receipts Tab and make sure these boxes/Radio
button selected:
Request Read Receipts;
Use this option to verify when...etc..
[ ] Request a read receipt for all sent messages

Returning Read requests

(*) Notify me for each read receipt request

Click OK and out try to send a message to one you know or another account of
yours and see.

Note that even if you do send the request for read receipt that doesn't mean
you'll get one. Some email programs don't pay any attention to the request
and many users turn off responding to the requests.

Many thanks that did the trick
