email reminders

I'm new to vista mail and actually never considered this with outlook or
express but can I have vista mail automatically email an appointment
reminder on my home computer calendar to my computer at work and
subsequently to my blackberry... I could really use the mobile reminders!

The only free calendar that does this (on Windows anyway) AFAIK is Mozilla
Sunbird and the Thunderbird Lightning calendar add-in.....
