but as freeware for Outlook Express

Which is why I asked if there was a freeware extension or other 3rd party
addon.

To the OP: if you're using Outlook Express now, why not consider
switching to Thunderbird? You won't regret it, and you get the
email redirection too

Once again, this comes in a separate extension. Look for the
"NewFilters" extension on this page:

http://www.supportware.net/mozilla/

Some notes, however: this extension works differently from the
default filtering interface of TBird. It's configured using a text
file for setting up filtering rules.

Before you install and use it, you SHOULD read the following
thread on the MozillaZine forums, it discusses this extension with
all the pitfalls:
