i received a internet security pack "opexdnkltl-186885a
newsletter.microsoft.net to-day with attachments since i
have always gotten updates over the direct windows method
i did not load this can any-one verify this is infact a
true microsoft update?
thanks for the help

Probably not but if you want to update your computer use the update site.
Head on over and use the automated update feature. Updates are NEVER sent by
MSN via email. Well, maybe if it's an odd error and you've been
communicating with 'em for a while but never unsolicited.

Don't open email attachments ever from anyone you don't know and don't even
open the ones from the people you do know unless you were expecting them.

Practice safe computing and you'll have a happier time online. Great to have
asked first.
