My email is asking my for a username and passcode which it has never done
before. I do not have a username and passcode and am getting the following
error message:
Account: 'Cam's mail', Server: 'shawmail.ok.shawcable.net', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR invalid command', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server
Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC91

How do I get into my email? thanks

Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Make sure that "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" is not enabled.

I went to my provider, AT&T and they told me that the last updated from
Microsoft changed all of the default settings. So, the had to either walk me
through the solution, or as they did with me, remotely connected to my
computer and put in the correct numbers to rectify the problem. Again, this
seems to happen every time there is a Windows update downloaded. Hope this
helps!

I doubt it is the Windows Update . . . . but, I hope you've written them
down this time !! Go to Tools -Accounts - highlight the AT&T account and
click on "Properties" - write down or make screen prints of the settings on
each tab. That way you can save yourself this headache should it happen
again.
