My mother has a network of two computers. She has dsl.
She is trying to get her email on her outlook on both
computers. It doesn't seem to appear in either. I sent
her an email from my hotmail account and it did not get
there and yet she was able to send me an email to my
hotmail account from her computer.

help... is there a reason why we cannot recieve email?

The ways to see the same email on multiple computers is:
1. Use web mail (where you're not downloading the mail)
2. Use an email server, like Exchange, so the mail stays
on the server.

If you are set up through an ISP, not a company server,
and you're using an email client, like Outlook, it will
download the mail to only one computer and will not
appear on multiple computers. You may see different
email on the different computers, but not the same email
on both.

Hi,

In both Outlook and OE there is a way out.

In Outlook go to More Settings - Advanced - Delivery, the settings here
allow you to choose to leave a copy of messages on the server, so you can
always have access to them from other computers.
