Is there a program that wil let me check my Hotmail.co.uk, Lycos and Gmail
email accounts in one go? Mostly there's spam that goes into those accounts
so logging in every day to be confronted with this is a pain so would
hopefully find a Freeware prog that will enable me to do this in 1 handy
program. Any ideas?

E-Mail Checker is a freeware program that allows you to access any
web-based email with a single mouse click. It loads up the webpage, and
automatically signs you in. It is extremely simple to use. You can
carry email checker on a usb stick, and log in from any computer
connected to the internet. It is 100% free of any form of spyware. It
supports almost any web-based email from Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, Mail.com,
to Gmail.com. E-mails even appear in the tray bar for easy access. Your
username and password are stored using the strong and secure blowfish
algorithm.

Editors Note: Requires no installation. Extract to a folder you would
like to run it from and optionally create a shortcut or add to your
startup for easy access.

I downloaded and installed a week ago ePromter. I use it with OE and
Hotmail. However, ePromter has a little problem with Hotmail. It can't
automatically retreive the mails from the list. - I used earlier as a a mail
notifier "NewMail" version 2.0, which was a freeware and could be used with
many accounts. The new versinon (2.1) is a sharewere. It happens sometimes
and if you are lucy, that you find somewhere old versions of freewares for
downloading. I wonder, if somebody had in his/her memory a site for finding
NewMail 2.0. - Wishing all the best to all of you for the year 2005.

Agreed. I'm using it, me too.
Unfortunately doesn't support gmail now.

I imagine Gmail support will follow after it comes out of beta. Until
then, you can forward new Gmail messages to a POP account. A kluge to
be sure, but I use it regularly to monitor Gmail, then go online as
necessary at my convenience to manage the account.
