I know that public calendars have an email address but I am trying to
determine where on the exchange server the emails go. Does the public
calendar have an emal account that can be opened? Would it then have it's
own Inbox and Calendar?

Any public folder can be mail enabled, i.e. given an email address, but that feature only makes sense in the case of mail/post and calendar folders.

Perhaps I should elaborate on the scenario. I have a public calendar that is
used as a group calendar to track all group appointments\meetings. For
individual appointments, we include the calendar in the meeting invitation.

However, occassonaly we sent out a email\custom form to the group with a
button that will place a series of dates on their calendar. I'm looking for
a way to include the group calendar in that mailing, open the emai and click
on the button to add that series of dates to the group calendar. What I
can't determine is how to access that email once it has been sent to the
group calendar folder.

I don't know of any easy way to do that. Why not have the code in the custom form automatically create appointments on the PF at the same time that it creates appointments in a user calendar?
