I'm having the same problem. Even worse... It's doing it to my signature
block and I can't even seem to get THAT changed!

Having what same problem? Your post is rather low on details.

Sorry. I was trying to get my post added to another grouping. The problem
is that when I open a new email to send in Outlook, the paragraphs are
formatted with spacing before and after set to Auto, which causes extra space
between lines separated by a line feed. Setting these to 0 gets the spacing
desired, but I can't seem to find a way to make that setting the default so I
have to do this in every email message I create. Even if I could get the
line spacing correct in my signature block I'd be happy.

In your signature block, end each line with Shift+Enter instead of Enter to put in a line break instead of a paragraph break.

Changing the Normal style in your Normal.dot template in Word to set the line spacing to 0 should take care of the other problem.

when i reply or forward an e-mail, the Psign comes up at the end of each
line. Psign
Psign
Psign

It looks like the above but with the symbol. It looks like an editing track
but is automatic now, i must have hit a sequence of keys to activate it.
Can't figure out how to turn it off.
