Email Limit

Does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of
emails you can have in your inbox? We have a problem
where users who have several thousand emails in their
inbox can't send internal emails but can send emails
outside. We are using Outlook 2k and a weird email server
called Gordano.
 
I know of no such limit. Do users get error messages when they try to send
internally? If so, what are they? What sort of mail account do you use?
