email intergal to a URL

When I send an email to customer support, using the form provided by that
website, should that email appear in the "Sent messages" folder of my email
client(hotmail). Lacking a confirmation, from the website, how would I know
it was sent?
 
When you send a message using a web form, the message will not appear in
your Sent Items folder, because you didn't use your email program to send
the message. It's up to the website to tell you whether or not the message
was received.
