I am using both a home and office computer, Outlook 2003 - but my email only
shows up on the computer on which I bring it in on - why? How can I fix it?
Oh, so we have to guess at WHAT type of account you have. I'll guess it
is a POP account. Well, the default behavior of POP is to RETR
(retrieve) and DELE (delete). If you don't want to delete the message
after retrieving it, you will have to reconfigure your e-mail client to
leave the message on the server. Then that message will be around when
you later use another e-mail client to poll the same mailbox. Of
course, since you are no longer deleting messages after retrieving them,
YOU will have to do the cleanup management to avoid consuming your disk
quota for that account. That means having to periodically use the
webmail interface to your account to delete old messages.
