All of my email is going to the outbox and won;t send. I am receiving
incoming mail. Receiving this error message:

An unknown error has occurred. Protocol: SMTP, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No,
Error Number: 0x800C013E

1. Port # can NOT be 0.
2. Do NOT paraphrase the error message. Post the ENTIRE message , verbatim.
We need to know what is your SMTP server name. There is nothing in the error
message that you need to hide.

Darlin', you've never been able to send messages using those settings.
Contact your ISP or email provider for the settings you'll need...or post
the complete error message.

This is the entire message I am receiving:

An unknown error has occurred. Protocol: SMTP, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No,
Error Number: 0x800C013E

Who is your Internet Service Provider, ( the company that gave you your
e-mail address )?
My ISP is Cogeco, and my e-mail address after the symbol @ is ......
@cogeco.ca
What are yours ?

You need to set up your email account as per the info supplied by your ISP. Your
email account is not set up according to the error message you posted

I have a similar problem with my windows mail it works fine at home from my
wireless router (sending and receiving) however when I go my office at my
sisters business and connect to the DSL line with Verizon I can only receive,
and I'm gettin pissed.

when I compose it stays in the outbox with the following message:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Test', Account:
'mail.ssmvending.com', Server: 'smtpout.secureserver.net', Protocol: SMTP,
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

In Windows Mail go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties,
Advanced, then change port 25 to port 80.

Hi Gary,
Just tried it didn't work I'll close out the email and restart it but this
is confusing.

It worked, thanks very much. Here's a cold one to ya
