Email goes twice

just got a new computer with Vista. Using Windows mail and evertime I send
an email, the recipient gets it twice. What is wrong.

With EVERY recipient, or just one?

Look closely at the address line (TO) before sending. Is the
recipient's address listed twice, separated by a , or ; ?

You may have set the account up twice.
Check Tools > Accounts

Go to the Tools menu>Accounts>and check that you only have one of the
accounts that does the duplication in the list, if two remove one of them.
 
If you're running an Anti-Virus scanner, set it to NOT scan email.
