i think its to a .pst file called outllook.pst its hidden
file

I don't find any of the .pst extension(s), but have
located ..mbx files/folders. Either way am still unable
to open same. Any more ideas?

Hi, BP.
In OE, click Tools | Options..., then the Maintenance Tab, then click the
Store Folder... button and see where they are stored on YOUR computer. It
might be different on mine.

Do as RC White suggested to see where they're stored
and you'll find that OE's folders are files with a .dbx
extension. But individual messages are stored within those
files and you can't get at them from Explorer.
