Email confirmation

How can I send automatically an email confirmation to person who fill out my
form
on my website.
 
Not possible when using the FP Form Handler unless your web host provide a autoresponder as part of
the mail server application associated with your web site and has configured it to process emails
generated by FP.

Thomas, do you know where this is documented in full? We send our e-mail
through our ISP's SMTP server, but we host our own web server (on Server
2003 with Frontpage Server Extensions 2002). I can see where to set SMTP
server address, but our ISP requires authentication. Is it in the
auto-responder to which you refer that I would enter user ID and password
for outgoing e-mails? What could serve as this auto-responder? What do I
need to install?

The documentation would be provided with mail server software, if it has this functionality.

It is not how you are sending email (SMTP), but the mail server that handles your incoming mail for
your website that would need to have the auto-responder application. You have to contact the Admin
that handle the incoming mail server.
