Does anybody know a free email client that has something like an included
email-sort-scriptinglanguage?
i think of a rules-file with lines like:

if subject="*viagra*" then move to /junkjard
if from="(e-mail address removed)" then move to /tina_dico

(just as an example)

thank you in advance.

The one you're using now can do this.
lots of info available, for example here:

oh, you got me wrong.

1. OE is not my email client
2. i want to have an extra txt-file which includes the filter-rules and i
want to edit this file with any editor like notepad for example.

If you are asking for a e-mail client that allows you to edit the
filtering rules outside of the application it self, then have a look
at Pegasus Mail <www.pmail.com>. You can edit the *.pmc file(s) in the
home mailbox location, see notes about files/-extensions and their
location/use here
<http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~jaabogae/han/pf_pmfiles.html>
Ditto for the content control file (spambust.dat),
see: <http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~jaabogae/han/pf_cc_index.html>

If you need help/suggestions - ask in:
<comp.mail.pegasus-mail.ms-windows>
Also browse: <http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~jaabogae/han/han_lkfr.htm>

All the best,

Ah, OK, may I suggest Xnews as a newsreader-replacement for OE ?

Don't know of any other that can do that besides Pegasus, as Bjorn Simonsen
suggested.

It's not strictly an email client, but I have used Hamster for years.
You can set up lots of rules for both email and news, then use any
client to read what's left. It also has a scripting language which I
believe is a subset of PERL. Once set up you can ignore it; it just
works.
Try www.hamster.arcornews.de/tgl/misc/hamster_en.htm for the download &
info.
