email attachments

I can't view attachments to emails anymore because they
are trying to display in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.
I don't know why they are now doing this-before I could
always view them. Any idea why I now default to this
Viewer and how to stop it?

Somehow the "file association" has been changed. See this link for a fix:

In Outlook Express or Outlook, goto:-
Tools
Options
Security
Un-tick the check box so you can view attachments
Apply
OK

Outlook doesn't have that option - it only occurs in OE.....
