II request help earlier and received a reply from a Mr. Solomon who provided a suggestion for me to try..His info did not correct the problem. I tried to respond to Mr. Solomon but reply failed to be delivered. I have since found a support kb/843018 that basically fit my problem and the solution was what Mr. Solomom suggested. My blocking the options/security tab is not checked and is still not checked and the problem has not been circumvented. Would it help if I removed SP2,reinstall SP1?. .Would I need to remove or reinstall I E6? I rally wanted to thank Mr. Solomon for trying to help me.

You're welcome.

If you have not already done so, try checking the option, click apply, then
uncheck the option and click apply and see if that resolves it.

If no, you likely have something else on your system that is causing the
problem. If you have a firewall installed and you should, check its
options. If you have antivirus installed, check its options as it might be
blocking attachments. Look into any other security software you have
installed, anything from ad blockers to popup blockers as any of them may
have such an option.
