When I format ands email that includes a photo I always get an attacment to the message as well as having the picture inserted in the message. Makes no difference which option ipick insert or attach,I always get both as part of the mail
My email server will not accept these emails
I am using Outlook Express and IE v6 most recent update.

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.

Tom, any idea if we can search attachments for words in
those docs?

Hi. Same problem. Occured only recently and only on one computer in my LAN. I cannot attach a file to an e-mail. At the Insert button on the insert window there is no "attachment" option. Consequently, the files are inserted into the e-mail and the server (Optimum Online) does not process them

I would like to set my Outlook (Office 2000 running on Windows XP Pro) to have the attachment bar with the e-mails, rather than imbed them into the e-mail How?

Rich Text Format - attachments inserted into body.
Plain Text - attachments inserted below message body.
HTML - attachments inserted in message header.

Does that mean you are not answering my question and that I need to repost it? Was that an automated response
