email attachement

How do I remove attachments from emails? I like to archive some emails and I
don't need to keep the file attached once I've looked at it or saved it
elsewhere. When I right click on the attachment I can see a "remove" command
but it's shaded out and not available.

You could buy OEX, it does that and much more.
