Email assigned to user

When I have logged off and have the XP style quivk logon screen up it says
under the User account '1 email message' On left clicking this message it
displays the email address. I want to change this email addess. The account
is the only acount on the PC and therefore is the administrator. I have
assigned a new email to the NET passport but it still displays the old
unwanted email address.

Have you actually removed the old passport associated with the account?
