Hi,

Is it possible to add a text hyperlink to an Outlook email, that when
clicked will add specified calendar meeting data to that user's calendar?
The message is a New Email, and not Meeting Request or Appointment.

We do not want to use Meeting Request or Appointment, as there is no BCC
field, and the list gets really long before the user even reads the 2 line
message. Also, our audience is worldwide, so this meeting data needs to be
able to insert the proper time into the user's calendar, based on the user's
time zone.

Thanks!

If that link is a link to an iCalendar .ics file containing the appointment details, clicking it will display a new appointment item in Outlook, which the user can then save or discard as they see fit.

Outlook handles that automatically, if each attendee is using Outlook and
they have it configured correctly on their machine.
