I need to email an Access report that contains a chart object to managers who
do not have ms access on their machines. I thought about saving the report
as a snapshot and then pasting the snapshot object into excel and emailing
the excel file. Is there another way? I like keeping the chart in access
since I allow for various filter selections before creating the chart. How
can I email this report without losing the chart object.

Any ideas?

Thanks very much,
Karen

Send the report straight from Access in snapshot. File, Send To, Mail
recipient (as Attachment) and the next popup will ask for the format.

print to pdf using yoru favorite pdf printer driver.

Better yet make a web site for managers to run the report dynamically or
automate the process of cranking out all the reports to pdf files and
sending all the emails. See our website for products to do these processes.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the response. I tried that and it works, but the problem is not
all managers have access and they can not view snapshot without access. Am I
wrong about that?
