Hi
I have a new Outlook XP in my PC. I am lacking the feature to get the whole
mail address if you only type few letters into the outgoing messages field.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Kalevi

How do you know you are lacking the feature? If your installation is new,
you haven't populated your autocompletion cache yet.

This feature is Outlook caching each email address as you type it.
Therefore if you have a new installation there is no previous cache
for it to present to you as you type. You have two options. 1) If you
have access to your previous installation of Outlook then go to "C:
\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\Microsoft
\Outlook". The file you are looking for is called
'YourOutlookProfileName'.nk2 - copy that to that location on your new
installation - you may need to rename it if your Outlook Profile Name
is different on your new installation.

If you don't have access to your old installation then all you can do
is start again from the beginning, each time you type an email address
then it will be in the cache for next time.
