However, in working with my help desk folks, we found that the problem is
a
collision with the cached history file that remembers what's been typed in
Outlook fields. We renamed (essentially deleting) my .NK2 file in
C:\Documents and Settings\<userid>\Application
Data\Microsoft\OutlookOutlook.
Outlook complained about some addin service being disable, so we reenable
it
(which then created a new .NK2 file). All cached history was gone (no
hints
came up when I started typing in my email address) and the new e-mail 2
address stuck.
