Email Address Auto Fill In with Non Existent Addresses

Since I've converted from Office 2000 to Office XP, when I use the autofill to send and email, the autofill is filling in an email address that is no longer in my address book/contact list. I can't figure out where it is pulling the email address from. Please advise.

Hi,

The file you are referring to is a nickname list that is used by both the automatic name checking and the automatic completion features.

If the entire file is corrupt, this article will help you delete and recreate it. If there is just one auto-complete nickname that is incorrect, perform the following:

From the drop down box that shows all of the nickname entries, click the up arrow on the keyboard to select the bad entry and press the delete key.
This will purge that single entry from the Nickname file.
